Alabama Homeschool Laws

Alabama does not have very specific laws about homeschooling from what we could find.  The law does state that the child needs to be enrolled in an "umbrella" or "church" school that oversees attendance.  It also appears that there is an option for a private tutor but that tutor needs to have a teaching certificate.

From what we could find the best idea for homeschooling would be to enroll in a program that will cooperate with your specific state and report attendance as necessary.
