When creating this site I didn't want to become a link farm but I ended up finding so much great information and so many great families that I just had to share!  My hope is that you will find families in your area, possibly get together with them and have support in your journey.  The other reason I wanted to share these links is that I am impressed by the quality of people homeschooling.  These are great places to find ideas and creative ways to teach.  There is nothing like networking and just sharing ideas.
